Electric cars have highly sophisticated computing power supported by sensors, camera systems, (Ultrasonic) range radars and Lidars. These technologies enhances controllability, monitoring, in-vehicle experiences and most importantly, safety thus preventing accidents. While advance communication capabilities of vehicles through C-V2X “Vehicle to Everything” technology includes Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V), Vehicle to Pedestrian (V2P), Vehicle to Network (V2N) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) gives way to many new features giving users a sense of Comfort, Entertainment and Security.
Dedication
AUK’s major participation is in supporting leading technological companies with their electric vehicle connectivity solutions. Working along side by side, providing reliable connectors intended to develop the next level of Transportation Interconnectivity products. Especially now that everything is novelty created, AUK services are definitely fundamental in their new product developments promoting precision, reliability and timely completion of projects achieving time-to-market schedules.
Our Interconnect Solution
AUK continuously takes part in the development of the electric vehicle connectivity systems, ranging from standard connector items to OEM/ ODM solutions. These interconnect systems are very well established and has been used in cars even before becoming electric which AUK competitively manufacture like for wireless communication such as RF Coaxial connectors intended for connecting Antenna’s with designated frequencies and SIM card connectors for 4G LTE or 5G Telecommunication. While Circular or Board Connectors as customized solutions for Camera, Radar/ Sensor used in detection, High speed data connectors for various telematics enhancing the vehicle’s performance thru efficient monitoring, Audio, Video or even peripheral I/O connectors such as the USB Type C, HDMI for that in-car experience infotainment accessibility and On-Board-Diagnostics (OBD II) connector which helps the vehicle's self-diagnostic and reporting capability or even as a GPS tracker. While AUK's contribution to V2X development are due to our product innovation for V2V, V2N solutions.

ADAS (Radar & Camera Module)
ADAS application is growing in a very fast phase due to our desire to reduce vehicular accidents and fatalities. The system includes state-of-the-art radar system that can tell a car from a pedestrian, a wall and know the location or correct paths. While Camera systems in ADAS can display what is behind or beside the vehicle, even at night on screen. Additional system requirements include communication interfaces, an integrated DRAM interface for fast access to external memory and embedded flash for low system cost. -
Infotainment System
Car infotainment systems provides a combination of entertainment and information for an enhanced in-vehicle experience to the driver and passengers with the aid of audio/ video interfaces, control devices like touch screen displays, button panel, voice commands, and others. The main components of an in-vehicle infotainment systems are Integrated Head unit, Heads-Up display, High-end DSPs and GPUs to support multiple displays, Operating systems or network protocols, connectivity modules and HMI’s.

In-Vehicle telematics
Telecommunications and informatics is what vehicle telematics is composed of and it helps to monitor vehicle activities to control costs like lowering fuel costs, boost productivity, increase profitability, improve safety and accountability. The telematics data are gathered through V2X (Vehicle to Everything), which includes V2V (Vehicle to vehicle), V2P (Vehicle to Pedestrian), V2N (Vehicle to Network), and V2I (Vehicle to Infrastrtucture) that can be about location, speed, harsh acceleration or braking, fuel consumption, vehicle faults and many more. When all of these data are analyzed for certain measures and patterns, these information can provide in-depth understanding that are helpful in vehicle management optimization. -
On-Board Diagnostics (OBD)
OBD systems, have become a standard vehicle performance monitoring for emission control, electronic fuel injection and electronic components, making diagnosis and maintenance easier. Now this is implemented using an OBDII connector with applications expanded to cover more specific areas of vehicle monitoring and maintenance, such as Driver behavior monitoring, supplementary instrumentation and commercial vehicle telematics as careful vehicle maintenance is a key aspect of this industry.
